Pepsi MAX Cherry "Tastyyyy"

The Brief

Pepsi approached Initials CX to create the pack shots for every sub brand of Pepsi MAX. This involved creating over 100 different shots of each flavour, as well as creating 3 variants of these, with spritz, without and with flat lighting. On top of this, we wanted to explore how we could sell in some animation of the products, along with the product shots.

The Solution

So together with Initials, we created a proof of concept to show Pepsi what we were capable of. We used C4D and redshift to create a dynamic and engaging video that would showcase the product packaging, as well as entice our audience to purchase, ensuring we had a tasty looking product that had all the suitable condensation. We used X-particles to create the fog, and the spritz, and finished off with some light compositing in AE. We took lighting inspiration from each flavour to differentiate and customise the result per product, however due to a change in budget allocation, Pepsi decided not to proceed. Ultimately, we were very happy with our work and decided to finish one animation off regardless.
